Years of Tradition

Sourced from the origins
of cacao in Ecuador.

Oríkao began as a regenerative agroforestry project in the heart of the Ecuadorian Amazon, where cacao use dates back more than 5,000 years. Our cacao is sourced from traditional Amazonian Chakra systems and selected fine cacao from the Ecuadorian coast, grown naturally under native canopy alongside fruit, medicinal plants, and dozens of other crops.

Nothing here is monoculture and nothing is synthetic. That biodiversity is exactly why this cacao carries a floral, aromatic depth you will not find in plantation grown beans. Every plot we work with is existing agroforestry, not cleared land, which means all Oríkao products are 100% deforestation-free.

We source directly. No intermediaries, no commodity brokers. Every batch is fully traceable from the producer families who grew it, through carefully controlled fermentation and greenhouse drying protocols built to protect aromatic complexity and consistency, to your port of entry.
